Dr. Emily Saunders, D.D.S.
Meet Dr. Emily
Dr. Emily Saunders grew up in Golden and graduated from D’Evelyn Jr/Sr High School. She then earned a Degree in Chemistry from Creighton University. Dr. Saunders completed her 4 year dental program at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She then completed a residency program at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Salt Lake City, where she received additional training in implantology, endodontics, oral surgery and medically complex patients. She then worked for a Native American Pueblo in New Mexico for two years. Dr. Saunders then joined the faculty at Augusta University Dental College of Georgia where she taught dental students, treated her own private patients, was involved in dental research that has been published in dental journals.
Dr. Saunders is excited to be part of White Rock Family Dental, where she was a patient of Dr. Pott’s prior to dental school! Dr. Pott was instrumental in her path to becoming a dentist through his kind and compassionate treatment of his patients as though they are his family. She continues this treatment philosophy and enjoys helping patients achieve and maintain dental health in a relaxing manner. She enjoys attending continuing education courses and staying up to date with the latest dental techniques. This summer she became a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry after completing 500 education hours and passing a rigorous written exam.
When Dr. Emily is not at the office she enjoys spending time with family and friends, church involvement, golfing, skiing and cooking.
